National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser formed a 13-member parliamentary committee to make sure that the decorum of the House sessions is maintained.
The committee will be under the speaker, but Prime Minister Imran Khan will also be included in it as the Leader of the House.
According to the notification, the other members of the committee will include Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan People’s Party Asif Ali Zardari, federal minister for Railways, Sheikh Rasheed, Tariq Cheema and MQM-P’s Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui among others.
The committee will be tasked to observe the sessions and maintain the peaceful environment.
The notification stated that the committee will investigate the complaints regarding behavior issues of lawmakers and will not take action on pending cases in the courts and media matters.
